Nest is a series of uniquely carved and slip glazed ceramic wasp nests which were hung in inconspicuous locations throughout an NYU building and left behind, where they remain largely undisturbed three years later. The nests are a quiet gesture that use the form of an insect-made structure to achieve the effect of a graffiti tag and replicates the form of a structure that, when encountered in nature, would typically be avoided or eliminated.
